  • Our latest issue features original art and illustrations by some of Toronto's top artists, including Elicsr and Steve Murray. We profile some of the city's most interesting movers and shakers (and bikers), as well as issues facing cyclists, like our legal feature that explores the Bryant/Sheppard case. Volume 3, Issue No. 1 also offers a special sneak peak at Richard Poplak's brand new graphic novel about notorious bike thief Igor Kenk. And, as usual, we offer tons of suggestions for building a more bikeable city.

    Our name

A “dandy-horse” was an early predecessor to the modern bicycle. Patented in 1818, the dandy-horse was a two-wheeled vehicle, with both wheels in-line and handlebar steering, propelled by the rider pushing along the ground with her or his feet as in regular walking or running.
